Stealth show. Not many made it but those who did caught a real one.
An outdoor area a bit "round back" of the main building. Ample seating and dancing area in front of the stage. The Soundman was set up far back on Dave's side and the absence of the Buddy was felt but without the lights to get stuck on I got the chance to appreciate the grove of maples and the gorgeous blanket of colored leaves underneath them.
Dan mastered pushing the two PA cabinets on either side of the stage delivering the sound to the appreciative fans crisp and clear.
According to Wikipedia, "amphitheaters were used for various types of public spectacles." and that one was used for sure.
