In a dark and dusty room, a dirty wooden floor. The sillouettes of 20 people crying out for more. It was a late and tiring show, and I could not wait to go. The morning hot and humid, the scent of burning road. Dealing with a challenge to my moral code. Setting out to find the truth, running from the Howling Wolf. Heading uptown, leaving downtown, with a woman that I had to have. After sunrise with my shades on, in the back seat of a taxi cab. She was in a randy mood, and following her lead. In a feeding frenzy, we satisfied our needs. Not a stop sign to be seen, all the lights were green. Passion, in a spontaneous fashion. Acting upon a reaction. Feeling the burning inside. It's true, I was obsessed with the view. The feeling of somebody new. Urges I could have denied. Instead, questioning what was not said. Answering not with my head. I let my heart be my guide. Pleasure, such an emotional treasure. At levels that I couldn't measure. I was enjoying the ride. The driver stopped and turned, and flashed a smile so sly. We had been oblivious to his wandering eye. And in an unexpected way, I do believe we made his day.
